Summer Fishing Season is Here

As we roll into June we continue to see steady fishing, particularly for halibut. The weather has been great, seeing temps as high as 27 in Masset. Stacks of needlefish are showing up in all the right places, closely followed by Humpback whales. Over the last few days we have been very fortunate to see some incredible humpback whale shows as they move into the shallow water to feed. The odd coho is trickling in, and before long they will be plentiful making for an exciting offshore fishery. Early season has been phenomenal so far and we couldn’t be more excited for whats to come.
